In his reflection in the video, Julio Cortázar plays with time: he superimposes in a present moments that, as he says, do no longer exist because in a second they become past, endless games of human happening.
This series invited me to take multiple elements to capture them in a single instant. My engravings, mostly monoprints, are works based on improvisation, allowing me to explore that superimposition of emotions in a vertiginous present.
Composition is the result of the pleasure of playing with the free combination of symbols of his life and the emotions this awakens in me.
As Cortázar talks about the wall highlighting an urban aesthetics, I seek to generate a visual metaphor condensing my emotion and my visual language.
