I am certain that we are ancestral-spiritual knowledge and that we are in this world to make such wisdom emerge from our higher self. Assuming this conscientiously is one of our greatest accomplishments.
Art is my way of exploring and experiencing this process. One of my challenges is to express it on canvas, not from the intellect but from being-doing while painting. The permanent point in my work is synchronicity between emotion and action, is letting inner energy flow, energy that must be guided by intuition and conducted with clarity and determination as it transcends my inner self to become a reality on canvas.
There is not a previous idea. It is in the present when energy must focus on action and recognize in the outside (painting) the inner part of me (where I am looking at) in order to genuinely reflect my inner self. By conquering this state of mind, the sign, the gesture or the structure that appear on canvas are not inert, they are living condensations. This language is encrypted for the mind, but powerful for our intangible and spiritual transcendence reality.
Is it believing what makes things happen? Is it by believing and trusting that we let energy express our feelings? Are those feelings the result of our higher intuition?
Developing the strength of symbolic, emotional and intuitive language in order to bring it to life and model it under its own laws through the plastic arts is another one of my challenges. When I am able to capture those live symbols under the laws of the language I chose, painting, the ground is set for the spectator to engage in a deep encounter with the work. That encounter, that fertile exchange, lets us share a transcendent path that materializes beyond words.
